NOTE: Scaniverse uses the LIDAR sensor to scan the world. As a result, it only works on devices with LIDAR: the iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and 4th Generation iPad Pro (2020 models).

Scaniverse captures scenes in stunning detail, allowing you to build highly accurate models of objects, rooms, and even whole buildings and large outdoor environments. Share your scans via Messages with friends and family - scans can be viewed in AR on almost all iPhones and iPads (iPhone 6S or later).
With Scaniverse Pro (available via in-app purchase), you can export your models to the most popular 3D formats, including FBX, glTF, USDZ, OBJ, and STL. Models created with Scaniverse are metrically accurate, and can be imported into 3D modeling software such as Blender and Maya, game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine, as well as most CAD programs. Scaniverse can enhance your workflow by allowing you to quickly capture any object as 3D reference.

We've made some big improvements to texturing. Textures are now sharper, with more accurate color reproduction -- producing models that are more realistic and better looking. We've also improved blending for scenes that have large variation in brightness, and we now handle windows and semi-transparent surfaces more accurately. Ultra quality now supports 8K textures for large models, making even the smallest details sharp. We hope you enjoy this update!
