The EMRA RA app is the Emergency Medicine Residents Association’s (EMRA) officially endorsed digital tool to assist clinicians in the application of regional anesthesia. Regional anesthesia as a practice holds significant benefits in terms of reducing opioid use, length of stay, patient satisfaction, and morbidity and mortality. The app was developed by experts in the field to help physicians build on their foundational knowledge and provide a quick, accessible reference to use on a busy clinical shift. This reference, along with guided practice, can help emergency physicians develop competency with as many of these procedures as possible. Our editorial team hopes this guide serves you and your patients well, as you provide better, safer, definitive pain control in the emergency department.
